Attn Spring Sessions...

If you've had a recent portrait session, you may have noticed that my mid section is looking a little rounder these days. We have a little piece of news: we're expecting a little guy this spring. (Thanks for the t-shirt mom- it's always good to clarify)

What this means for spring sessions: I will be taking all of April and May off for maternity leave, and possible the last week or two of March. So, if you are thinking spring for your next portrait session, you'll want to schedule your March and June sessions now. My spring calendar is starting to fill up, so the sooner you contact me, the better the chance you'll get the date you need. This is especially important for my "Baby's First Year" portrait packages if your 6 month or 12 month sessions fall around this time.

And one last thing- I'll be out of the office through Sunday, so please be patient with emails this week. :)

Okay, on to the fun stuff- photography! Here's a few of this Mercer Island cutie. His one-year portraits were a whirlwind- they always keep me running at this age. :)

Wishing everyone a very happy New Year!!

Seattle Washington: Baby's First Year Portraits

Remember this little guy?...snuggle bug

He's growing up! Here are a few from his 6 month session. We managed to get these during the only rain-free hour of the day, and I'm SO glad we took our chances. They are some of my favorite. A big thanks to his parents, who were very flexible, and wonderful to work with. I can't wait for his 1 year session!

This one makes me melt. They look so cozy and peaceful.

Gas Works Park in Seattle gave us fun backdrops and that stellar Seattle skyline.

He had me giggling the whole time. Do you blame me?

Mill Creek Washington: Family Portraits

Just wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures from a recent family portrait session. This gorgeous family was so much fun- and check out all the golden locks. :) These little ladies were full of personality, and their brother was on the move! It was a blast running around with these three. Thanks for a fun afternoon F family- it was so nice to meet you!

Yay for snow...

So happy to see everything covered in white. Don't worry, my winter flowers are hanging in there. :)

And a pic from one of Saturday's sessions (yes, we managed to get two in that day- a big thanks to all of my clients who have been so flexible working around our weather!) Speaking of, I have a last minute opening this week- if anyone wants to brave the "chance of snow". :) Email if you're interested: info@kristenhoneycutt.com
I hope everyone is snuggled up in their homes, happy and healthy.

West Seattle Washington: Family Portraits

I had a chance to meet with this sweet family out in West Seattle. Mom and Dad are busy chasing after these two- brother and sister are both little balls of energy and fun! (not to mention adorable) We played some serious rounds of tickling... and I'm pretty happy with these grins!

I swear I did nothing to this gals eyes- they are truly that gorgeous.

This is my fave- that face! I have to see this one BIG!

Thanks for a great session M family!!

And by the way, yippee for snow!!!! It finally looks and feels like Christmas!

Seattle Wshington: Newborn Portraits

This little angel will give you a toothache.
She was such a sweetheart and her parents did an amazing job getting her ready for her photo debut. Is there anything more peaceful than this little snuggle bug?

We had to get a shot of both their babies. :)

This one is my favorite from the set. She is just perfect.
Congratulations to her mom and dad!

Kirkland Washington: Family Portrait Session

I had fun meeting up with this family again for some Christmas portraits. Last year it was just the two kiddos, but they've got a new baby brother to play with now- and he's such a cutie. We hit the parks in Kirkland, and I am loving these shots. :)

There's no way you can look at this without smiling... You're smiling aren't you? :)

These brothers already look so much alike. Aren't they cute?!

I love it when I nab a moment like this.
They were having so much fun playing with dad.

And this little charmer even gave me a puppet show at the end of the day.
She's a spark plug!

Such a good looking family of five. Thanks you guys!
