Kirkland Washington Engagement Session: Laura and Tyler

This couple is all kinds of cool. I was so excited when they said they wanted to include their "baby" in some of their engagement shots. (Their 'baby' being a large- and adorable- canine) Love it!
Due to some unlucky Seattle weather, we had to reschedule their engagement session more than once. Thankfully, we finally got this perfect sunny day to get some great engagement pictures of the bride and groom to be! They have some AMAZING plans for their August wedding, and I'm so excited to capture it all! Keep an eye out for their wedding pictures this summer. :)

Moses Lake Engagement Portraits: Mariel and Nate

For one of my last portrait sessions before my maternity leave (no baby yet, by the way- the little bugger has missed his due date!) I met this sweet couple in Moses Lake, WA for their engagement session. These WSU alumni are planning a summer wedding under the stars- and it sounds like it's going to be some serious fun with family and friends. We're getting pretty excited to head over the mountains for this wedding. Congratulations Nate and Mariel- you two make such a great couple and we're so excited for you!

Seattle Washington: Laura and David's Engagement Session

On a very wet day a couple weeks back, this soon-to-be bride and groom managed to clear the grey sky for a couple hours while we headed to the UW campus for their engagement portrait session. (Seems like I've had to chance the weather a lot lately!) I'm so glad we were blessed with a break in the rain, because these two together are nothing but love and fun. I've been on an editing marathon and I'm exhausted, so I'm no good with words right now... but I had to share these before I call it a night. I can't get enough of this couple's engagement session- don't you just love couples in love? I can't wait for this wedding- these two are overflowing with chemistry. It's going to be one happy day. :)

Viva Las Vegas

I'll be in Las Vegas, Nevada this week for the annual WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) trade show and convention. I am so excited for all the awesome info and new goodies I'm going to bring home and pass on to my clients! I've got a packed schedule for the next few days and the laptop is staying at home, so please be patient with emails- I promise everyone will receive a reply next week.
