Over the next few months I'll be featuring items from my 2009 product line. I am so excited to start offering all of these new goodies and keepsakes to show off your images! This year I searched hard for pro vendors that offered unique products of the highest quality, and I am just in love with what I've found. In order to continue to offer personalized attention and a unique experience to each of my clients, I've had to adjust some of the portrait packages and rates for 2009. I have been truly blessed by your support and I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and your amazing families over the last couple years. And some final loose ends:
I have no openings left before my April/May maternity leave (with the exception of newborn sessions that I will *try* to squeeze in). My first available openings are currently the last week of June, and my calendar is filling fast. So, if you're thinking summer portraits, contact me as soon as possible to secure a date that works with your schedule. For all of you who have sessions scheduled before April, *we* (my belly and I) will be seeing you soon! :)
And finally, in an effort to get some of my current orders out/galleries up ASAP, I have fallen a bit behind on my email. I have not forgotten about you! You'll be hearing from me shortly- as soon as I get to the bottom of my looooong 'to do' list. :)

Viva Las Vegas

I'll be in Las Vegas, Nevada this week for the annual WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) trade show and convention. I am so excited for all the awesome info and new goodies I'm going to bring home and pass on to my clients! I've got a packed schedule for the next few days and the laptop is staying at home, so please be patient with emails- I promise everyone will receive a reply next week. Look for updates here on the blog- I'll try to keep you posted on all the fun and games!

Alright, now check out Joel and Cailin's engagement portraits! These two will be gettin' hitched this July, and I am getting so excited for their wedding. Of course, I adore both of these lovebirds, so that definitely adds to the fun factor. Thanks for a fun session guys... and even letting me take the "Woody's" shot! ;)

Attn Spring Sessions...

If you've had a recent portrait session, you may have noticed that my mid section is looking a little rounder these days. We have a little piece of news: we're expecting a little guy this spring. (Thanks for the t-shirt mom- it's always good to clarify)

What this means for spring sessions: I will be taking all of April and May off for maternity leave, and possible the last week or two of March. So, if you are thinking spring for your next portrait session, you'll want to schedule your March and June sessions now. My spring calendar is starting to fill up, so the sooner you contact me, the better the chance you'll get the date you need. This is especially important for my "Baby's First Year" portrait packages if your 6 month or 12 month sessions fall around this time.

And one last thing- I'll be out of the office through Sunday, so please be patient with emails this week. :)

Just a little FYI about newborns- I've added a newborn package to my price list that includes three photo sessions in the first year, all with digital negatives on DVD and 24 custom designed birth announcements to tell the world of your special arrival. The perfect way to document your little one's first year. Birth announcements are also available a 'la carte.

Here are a few from little L's newborn session. She is such a sweet little girl- she was a real trooper while I positioned her one way, and then another. :) And mom did a great job keeping her happy. Congratulations to mom and dad! What a beautiful baby. Thanks for thinking of me- I'm looking forward to her 6 month session already!

July Calendar Open

I have now opened up my July calendar. A few of the dates are already filled by earlier requests for sessions, so if you are thinking between now and July for your portraits, contact me as soon as possible to reserve the day you want.

I hope all of you mama's out there had a very wonderful Mother's Day! My husband and I went to my home town, Moses Lake, for a long weekend- it was a whirlwind, but I had so so much fun with family and friends. I was lucky enough to fit in a family session, newborn, and wedding all in two days... and I had a BLAST! I am so excited to work through all the images. (I'll be throwing a bunch on here with more details soon) I know I've been kind of bad about posting my recent sessions on here, so I pledge to get some more images up in the next week- promise. And what would this post be without an image? Here's one from my Mother's Day newborn session. She has such dainty little features- such a girl! Gorgeous comes to mind. ;)

April's Special...Storyboards!

Okay, you've been asking for an April treat, so here it is. I am having so much fun with these! I just love them- they are especially cute in a child or baby's room. They come mounted, so they're ready to display. You can choose your own colors/text to coordinate. I'm dying to do some more, so if you call/email me during April to schedule your session (in May or June), then I'll create a story board just for you with my favorites from your session. Call fast to get the date you want- just a couple spots left in May!

My Schedule

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you an update on my availability. I am now opening my schedule up for May and June sessions. March and April are already full, although I do try to squeeze in newborn sessions. I will schedule those of you who have already contacted me for a May/June session first, and after that, availability is on a first-come basis. Please contact me as early as possible to reserve your desired date.
*If you are pregnant and want a newborn or maternity session, please contact me as soon as possible. Newborns are best photographed the first two weeks of life (preferably in the first few days), so it's best to give me a heads-up.

Wow, I am blown away by the response I've had to the new website... sounds like you guys like it! I only have one available session left in March, and only three in April- so if you want your pictures in the next couple of months, let me know right away.
